What is the meaning of the name Model kaos ?
Alex M. Kintner (Vocals) - Well, Model Kaos is the way how we are doing music. No specific genre, just a mix of different styles, not only doing typical EBM, or Synthiepop, no we are mixing several kinds of music styles, like gothic rock, synth pop and EBM. When you listen to our album "GHOST MARKET", you can hear the diversity in between al the songs, like THE MORE, the beginning sounds like typical Synthie bands, but then when the guitars and drums starts it gets into a electro goth song. Then you have tracks like BREAK MY HEART. This song is the complete opposite to THE MORE. A very catchy and laidback ballad with a great singalong chorus, acustic guitars and 80ties sounds.
Well, have you plans for the future ?
Kevin.G. (Drums) - Yes, sure! We are playing a live stream show on June 15th, from our studio, shown in the net. Then off course we have plans for touring and playing as much as we can. We also have plans to do another release with new and some unreleased songs probably in Winter. Hopefully we get the possibility to play festivals all over Europe over the next months, and hopefully we can come and play for ..Gothic World.. in Italy!
What are the most intense memories that brought in throughout your career?
Kevin.G. (Drums) - If you mean with Model Kaos, I would say the reaction we got on our first single LOVE IS MURDEROUS, and the signing to Danse Macabre Records. In general the last 4-5 months we're incredible to us. So many things happend! From the first plays in podcast all over the world, the compilations we are part of, like ..Gothic World.., the signing, then the album, it`s just unbelievable, that all this happend in between one year! We are getting so much response from all over the world, specially from many radiostations and DJs, we never expected this..
Do you have maybe an album in production that will be released ?
S.E. ROTWANG (Guitars) - Well, we just finished our production on the album "GHOST MARKET".
The album will be released on May 25th via Danse Macabre Records, worldwide.

Kevin.G. (Batteria) - Ciao Rob, Io sono K.G. dei model kaos, e sono il compositore, produttore e batterista da vivo della band.

Quando è nata la band e perché?
Kevin.G. (Batteria) - I Model Kaos si sono avviati nel gennaio 2011 in questa attuale line-up. L'idea era, quella di creare un mix di suoni electro combinati con chitarre e una batteria dal vivo.
Cosa ti ispira principalmente nella composizione delle tue canzoni?
Kevin.G. (Batteria) - Bene, la mia più grande ispirazione sono gli anni 80, direi, ma anche la musica future pop e EBM. Noi tutti amiamo i The Cure, Depeche Mode, ma anche band come VNV Nation, e Covenant o Berzerk Apoptygma per esempio. Per me personalmente, essendo la persona che programma tutte le basi e compone principalmente le canzoni, vi è Ultravox e Gary Numan la mia più grande ispirazione. Invece per Alex e S.E. i loro preferiti sono musicisti come Peter Murphy (Alex) o i Misfits (S.E.), e molti altri..
Qual è il significato del nome Model Kaos?
Alex M. Kintner (Voce) - Beh, Model Kaos è il modo in cui stiamo facendo musica. No c'è un genere specifico, solo un mix di stili diversi, non solo facendo EBM o Synth pop, no stiamo miscelando diversi tipi di stili musicali, come il gothic rock, synth pop e EBM. Quando si ascolta l'album "GHOST MARKET", si può sentire la diversità tra le canzoni, come "THE MORE", l'inizio sembra tipico delle band Synth, ma poi quando le chitarre e la batteria iniziano si ottiene un brano electro goth. Poi ci sono brani come "Break My Heart". Questa canzone è l'esatto contrario di "The More". Una ballata molto orecchiabile e rilassata con un grande coro, chitarre acustiche e suoni anni 80.
Bene, avete piani per il futuro?
Kevin.G. (Batteria) - Sì, certo! Stiamo facendo un concerto in diretta streaming il 15 giugno, dal nostro studio, mostrato nella rete. Poi fuori rotta abbiamo piani per tour e di suonare il più possibile. Abbiamo anche in programma di fare un altro rilascio con nuovi brani ed alcuni brani inediti, probabilmente in inverno. Speriamo di ottenere la possibilità di suonare nei festival in tutta Europa nei prossimi mesi, e speriamo di poter venire a suonare per ..Gothic World.. in Italia!
Quali sono i ricordi più intensi che portate dentro in tutta la vostra carriera?
Kevin.G. (Batteria) - Se intendi con i Model Kaos, direi che è stata la reazione che abbiamo ottenuto il nostro primo singolo "Love is Murderous", e la firma per Danse Macabre Records. In generale, negli ultimi 4-5 mesi è stato incredibile per noi. Sono successe tante cose! Dalle prime canzoni suonate in podcast in tutto il mondo, le compilations di cui facciamo parte, come ..Gothic World.., la firma, poi l'album, è semplicemente incredibile, che tutto questo è accaduto in un anno! Stiamo ricevendo risposte, da tutto il mondo, specialmente da stazioni radio, molti DJ, e non ce l'ho saremo mai aspettato..
Avete forse un album in produzione che verrà rilasciato?
S.E. Rotwang (Chitarra) - Bene, abbiamo appena finito la nostra produzione dell'Album "GHOST MARKET".
L'album uscirà il 25 maggio per Records Danse Macabre, a livello mondiale.
